The Nativity is the top attraction in Pentema. It allows the visitors to experience the atmosphere of the Catholic belief, by setting the scene in Pentema itself, its arches, its narrow streets,
The 19th century is the historical timeframe in which all the scenes are represented. This is done through an accurate and careful reconstruction of the surroundings and the old jobs, which the locals used to carry out.
The characters, which are all human size, are dressed in clothes matching the time period and represented in everyday situations in a village where they were once actually living and working.

The Nativity is set-up with enthusiasm and a lot of dedication by a large number of volunteers. In the months of October, November and December they allow the village to come alive.
